Intelisys Adds East Cloud Sales Engineer & Sr. Regional Channel Manager

Expands Dedicated Sales Partner Support in East Region
Petaluma, CA (August 15, 2016) – Intelisys Communications, Inc., the nation’s leading Technology Services Distributor, has reinforced its commitment to Sales Partners in its East Region, with the hiring of a new Senior Channel Manager and an award-winning Cloud Sales Engineer.

  1. Joe Conlon, Senior Channel Manager, Mid-Atlantic Region, brings a wealth of channel and industry experience to his position, having held channel roles at Sprint, Global Crossing/Level 3, and most recently, T-Mobile.
  2. Gerry Davis, Jr., Cloud Sales Engineer, Southeast Region, was most recently Senior Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) for NaviSite. An award-winning sales engineer, he has also worked at Windstream Hosted Solutions (now TierPoint) and for Mecklenberg County, the largest county government in North Carolina.

Based out of Philadelphia, Joe Conlon has more than 25 years of industry experience, combining operational management, business development and customer service expertise, and delivers on a reputation for driving market strategies, forming strategic partnerships, and successfully implementing and overseeing complex projects.

The Mid-Atlantic Region is home to a number of Sales Partners who already have a really strong base, and I look forward to helping them grow. Gerry Davis, Jr., will be supporting Intelisys Sales Partners from his home base in North Carolina. A pre-sales engineering expert who holds a multitude of certifications and awards, he brings a significant background in cloud and datacenter technologies to his role, as well as a proven record as an educator. In his 10 years with the Mecklenberg County, Davis first managed the server team before moving to a network engineering role, and later to a senior leadership role in the Enterprise Architecture Group, in which he was tasked with aligning County business goals with technology, giving him a unique understanding of the customer perspective.
“My role is purpose-built to help our Sales Partners to build and grow their cloud practices,” said Davis. “I encourage each of the Sales Partners in the Southeast Region to think of me as an extension of their sales teams. I look forward to working with them in a consultative role, helping recommend and engineer the best solutions possible for their customers.”

Ansley Hoke

Ansley Hoke is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at ScanSource, Inc., a role she has held since 2019, and extended her leadership to include Intelisys in 2023. She joined the company in 2001, serving in merchandising leadership roles for ScanSource POS and Barcode, including acting Vice President of Merchandising and then later VP of Merchandising for ScanSource Catalyst and overall VP of ScanSource Catalyst. She oversaw sales, supplier relations, and services. Known for her pivotal role in creating effective marketing strategies, Ansley has been integral in driving demand, enhancing partner programs, and significantly contributing to the company’s revenue growth and channel relationships.

Mike Baur serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at ScanSource.
