# Channel Connect 2018 Golf Tournament: A Monumental Moment

By sundown Friday, October 5, 2018, Channel Connect 2018 attendees packed up their 9 irons and toasted their glasses to another outstanding golf tournament *at the [Pacific Grove Links](https://www.playpacificgrove.com/) golf course in the renowned location of Pacific Grove, California. Between the golden Pacific views and a world-class course, our tournament winners were crowned, and a grand prize sped through Monterey’s stretch of the 101 freeway.

For the first time in Channel Connect history the Hole-in-One competition was won! [Xtelesis](https://www.xtelesis.com/) CEO Scott Strochak hit the near-impossible shot on the 17th hole at Pacific Grove Links Course. Event sponsor [IntelePeer](https://www.intelepeer.com/) rolled out their prize for the perfect swing: a new Lexus RX 300H, the ultimate souvenir. Congratulations, Scott! We’re thrilled that your very first Channel Connect event was a huge success!

We are honored to celebrate 20 years of bringing Channel Connect attendees together to play on world-class golf courses. Over 150 Sales Partners and Supplier Partners came together with the Intelisys and ScanSource teams to enjoy the award-winning course, renew friendships and create new ones, and build new partnerships. While curiosity looms over how next year’s golf outing will outdo this one, Channel Connect’s tournament has yet to disappoint.
