*Exceptional Leadership in Top Growth Region Stands Out*

Petaluma, CA (February 20, 2017) – [Intelisys](https://0cdd42d8b8.nxcli.net) Inc., a ScanSource company and the nation’s leading Technology Services Distributor, announced today that [CRN®**](http://www.crn.com), a brand of [The Channel Company](http://www.thechannelco.com/), has named Rick Ribas, SVP East Region, to its prestigious list of 2017 Channel Chiefs. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organizations through channel partners.**
Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2017 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.

“Rick is a consummate professional and a true leader,” said Jay Bradley, Intelisys President. “Many at Rick’s level see clients; Rick sees family. He is one of the most genuine people I know in this industry. Whether dealing with Sales Partners, his internal channel management team, other colleagues, or our Supplier Partners, Rick can be counted on to deliver exceptional direction, foresight and results. It’s an honor knowing and working alongside Rick. He is a huge contributor to the success of Intelisys, and I offer him my congratulations on this recognition from CRN.”

Ribas joined Intelisys in 2010 as Vice President, and was promoted in Q4 2015 to Senior Vice President, East Region. Adept at facilitating new growth, Ribas is responsible for growing and managing the Technology Services Distributor’s fastest growing region. In his nearly seven years with Intelisys, Ribas contributed to record-breaking annual revenue growth of 43%, on average, for the East Region, leading to the build of a brand new Connecticut office, which opened in December 2015. In 2017, it is expected that Ribas’s region will surpass $500 million in annual commissionable billings, and will expand its support team of Channel Managers and Solution Engineers throughout New England, Tennessee and the Southeast.

“As a 100 percent channel company, our growth and revenue always comes back to our exceptional Sales Partners,” said Ribas. “It’s a privilege playing a part in their success. I look forward to many more years contributing to the Intelisys community.”

“The executives on our 2017 Channel Chiefs list have distinguished themselves by building strong partner programs, developing and executing effective business strategy and helping to advance the channel as a whole,” said Bob Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “They represent an extraordinary group of individuals who lead by example and serve as both invaluable advocates and innovators of the IT channel. We applaud their achievements and look forward to their successes in the coming year.”
