ScanSource’s Strong Balance Sheet Available to Support Sales Partner Programs

Helps Sales Partners grow their businesses faster
Petaluma, CA (October 6, 2016) – Intelisys Inc., a ScanSource company and the nation’s leading Technology Services Distributor, announced today an expansion of its groundbreaking Partner Investment and Advanced Commissions Programs, to be supported by ScanSource’s strong balance sheet.
In the six years since the launch of the Partner Investment Program, followed three years later by the Advanced Commissions Program, (together often referred to as the “Bank of Intelisys”) Intelisys has provided more than $5 million in business loans to qualified Sales Partners looking to expand their businesses.
Now, since the acquisition by ScanSource, Intelisys Sales Partners have the opportunity to tap into ScanSource’s strong balance sheet, which includes borrowings under a $300 million committed credit facility.

The Partner Investment Program provides financial capital to Intelisys Sales Partners outside of traditional banking relationships, with financing secured by existing or future commissions, and loan repayment triggered by flexible and favorable growth milestones.
Intelisys later introduced the next generation and first-of-its-kind Advanced Commissions Program to help channel partners transition to a recurring revenue model while offering cloud and carrier services. The Advanced Commissions Program provides VARs, Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT solution providers the opportunity to secure the up-front cash needed before transitioning from a CAPEX to an OPEX recurring revenue model.

Mike Baur serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at ScanSource.
