Intelisys’ Carol Beering Named to 2015 CRN Women of the Channel List
Petaluma, CA (June 1, 2015) – Intelisys Communications, Inc., the nation’s leading Technology Services Distributor, today announced that Carol Beering, Senior VP of Sales Operations, has been named to The Channel Company’s prestigious 2015 CRN® Women of the Channel. The annual list honors outstanding female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors, solution providers and other women prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem for their successes, and the farreaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward.
This year’s Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel.

A 30-year veteran of successful telecom management, channel sales, service and marketing, Carol Beering has been with Intelisys since June 2003, and has served as its Senior VP of Sales Operations since December 2012. Carol is instrumental in the development of the Intelisys’ back-office processes and procedures, and in building a performance culture. She is responsible for the overall Sales Partner and Supplier Partner experience with Intelisys, including Partner Support, Order Management, Retention, Commission Resolutions, Cable Services, Marketing Operations and Supplier Management. She also oversees the support for Intelisys’ Cloud and VAR Recruiting strategy, as well as all new strategic initiatives. An advisory board member with several of the Intelisys top Supplier Partners, Carol is also a member of the Intelisys Executive Team, a respected mentor, and a board member of Telecom for Change.
“Carol is a godsend, as far as mentoring and coaching go,” said Jenny Izzo, Director, Executive Operations, for Subsidium Technologies, an Intelisys Channel Sales Partner. Izzo, a 12-year veteran of the Subsidium team and the telco agent’s first employee, was promoted this year to a newly developed senior role, and has been working with Beering through weekly mentoring calls. “Carol has really pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and face things from a new and different perspective – as a supervisor with a stake in the business, instead of an employee focused on the day-to-day,” explained Izzo. “I’m expanding my career, and also a mother of two school-aged children. Carol’s advice on balancing the personal and professional has been invaluable, as well as her guidance on working in a male-dominated industry and supervising men, many of whom are older than I and come to the table with more direct experience. She’s incredibly gifted at what she does, and is generous sharing her knowledge.”
